I’m back after visiting the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Canyon de Chelly, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park.
14 Days. 5,200 miles. 20,230 photos. I’ll start culling, processing, and posting them when I can.
Not everyone made it: one dead backup camera and one dead telephoto lens. But I got the shots I needed.
The image above includes the East and West Mittens, and Merrick Butte in Monument Valley, where I stayed for two days. It is every bit as spectacular as it looks.
And Amtrak, we have to talk: no WiFi on half the trip in each direction is just primitive. Shame on you. America deserves better.
